Class is held in the spacious, bright basement of the Ravenna Collaboratory (unaffiliated).

One open floor plan classroom contains all of our learning centers — including a home center, sensory table, large muscle equipment, art, library, and more — facilitating easy movement between centers during free play time. We use the playground at Bryant Elementary School (unaffiliated) for outdoor recess.

We love to show off our classroom. While nothing beats a real tour during preschool hours, we’ve created a virtual tour of sorts for you here so you can get a feel for the space right now. Join us as we highlight some of the typical activities in our classroom.

We are located a few blocks off of Northeast 65th Street and 35th Avenue Northeast, just across the street from Bryant Elementary School and a couple blocks south of Assumption-St. Bridget School. We enter through the double glass doors and walk down the stairs to our classroom.

We spend our indoor time in a spacious, open classroom with high ceilings and lots of light.

We sing songs, celebrate birthdays, read books, and play with blocks and toys on our circle rug.

We measure, fill, and sort a rotating assortment of materials in our Sensory Table.

We dress up and stretch our imaginations in our Dramatic Play Center.

We bake play dough cupcakes and set up elaborate meals in our Home Center.

We read books, play with sensory bottles, and enjoy quiet moments in our Library.

We create all kinds of art using a wide assortment of materials in our Art Center.

We manipulate and problem solve and build our fine motor skills at our Tables.

We climb and play and build our gross motor skills in our Climbing Center.

We also build our gross motor skills when we play outside at the Bryant Playground.

Now that you’ve had a virtual tour, we’d love for you to come in and take a real tour. An in-person tour during class hours provides an opportunity for you to meet our teachers, see our classroom, and watch us in action. The tour allows you to determine if U-Ravenna Co-op will be a good fit for your child. We love our school, and we want you to know that you will, too.

If your child will be two years old by August 31st, schedule a tour with the Pre-3s Class.

If your child will be between the ages of three and five by August 31st, schedule a tour with the 3-5s Class.

[We also love our school photographer, Anela Deisler, and thank her for many of these photos.]
