3-5s Class

Welcome Teacher Nicole!

We are pleased to announce that Nicole Ross will be the new teacher for our 3-5s Class for fall 2019.

Nicole received her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Bradley University and spent a number of years performing and singing in musical theatre productions. After years of working in the non-profit fundraising world, she discovered the joys of teaching preschoolers. Nicole has worked in various Northeast Seattle preschools for the past 7 years bringing music and storytelling to many young students.

“There is something so magical about the preschool years.  I love working with this age group because of the joy they find in discovering the world around them.  Preschoolers never cease to surprise me with their perspectives!  Teaching preschool is good for the soul,” says Nicole.

Nicole believes preschool should be a fun, engaging environment where children are encouraged to play while learning to cooperate with others and starting to cultivate their independent skills.

Nicole’s goal for each child “is to instill a lifelong love of learning while focusing on cultivating a sense of compassion and empathy in our community that will stay with them as they move onto elementary school.  We can ALL use more empathy.”

When asked what she is looking forward to the most in the coming school year, she replied, “I am looking forward to a great year filled with lots of play, music and FUN!  I can’t wait to meet you and your kiddos.”

We are currently accepting new students for both our 3-5s Class and our Pre-3s Class for fall 2019.
