Welcome to the 2018-19 Preschool Year

Hello U-Ravenna Coop families!

We hope you had a wonderful summer. Now that it’s September and the days are getting shorter and a little bit cooler, we also hope you’re getting excited for the new preschool year.

First, we’d like to remind you of some important dates to have on your calendar.

NSC Trainings:

  • Friday, September 7, 9:30 am – 11:30 am: NSC Leadership Workshop for Chairs, Secretaries, Parent Coordinators, Health & Safeties, and PAC Reps
  • Saturday, September 15, 9:00 am – 2:00 pm: NSC CPR Training

Pre-3s Class:

  • Week of September 11: Informal Classroom Visit (see email from Teacher Christi for schedule)
  • Tuesday, September 11, 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm: Fall Orientation
  • Week of September 18: Slow Start (see email from Teacher Christi for schedule)
  • Week of September 25: First full week of class

3-5s Class:

  • Week of September 4: Home visits from Teacher Desiree for new students
  • Saturday, September 8, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm: Classroom set-up
  • Tuesday, September 11, 11:30 am – 12:15 pm: Kid Leaders Class (for returning second year 3-5s Class families)
  • Wednesday and Thursday, September 12-13: Slow Start
  • Thursday, September 13, 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm: Fall Orientation
  • Week of September 17: First full week of class
  • Thursday, September 27, 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm: Curriculum Night
